The BID Learning Network (BLN) invites you to watch this month’s webinar entitled “Identifying and Addressing Challenges in Deploying an Electronic Registry: The Ghana Health Service Experience.” Introducing electronic registries in sub-Saharan Africa where internet connectivity and electricity are not always reliable, come with a lot of challenges, including errors and compromised data quality. In this webinar, the presenter shares how the Ghana Health Service has developed an e-registry within the District Health Information Management System 2 to collect, manage and analyze transactional case-based records at the community level for maternal and child health as well as TB management services.

The BID Learning Network (BLN) invites you to view a webinar entitled “Lessons Learned in Scaling Up: How TDH is Deploying an m-Health Application in 600 Clinics in Burkina Faso.” In 2013, Terre Des Homme (TDH) together with the Ministry of Health in Burkina Faso developed the Integrated e-Diagnostic Approach (IeDA), an innovative m-Health strategy that combines the use of mobile technologies and quality improvement methodologies for the Registre Electronique des Consultations (REC), an electronic registry for patient consultations.

BLN Study Visit Application
BLN study visits are intended to enable national immunization program and eHealth personnel to visit sites where success has been registered in designing and/or implementing solutions that have improved data access, quality, and use with a demonstrable impact of health care service delivery. The knowledge acquired from such visits should be directly applicable to developing/improving data access, quality, and use in the participant’s home country.Jun 5, 2017
BLN Chile Study Visit Concept Note
The BID Learning Network (BLN) is intended to facilitate peer learning and dissemination of innovations and lessons learned by bringing countries together to identify shared problems and solutions. This concept note defines the scope of the BLN's upcoming study visit to learn more about the Registro National de Immunzaciones (RNI), the electronic immunization registry in Santiago, Chile. The study visit is planned in collaboration with the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) from the 22nd to 25th of August. Applications are due June 30th.
