Tools Developer Summit
Furthering the BID Initiative’s collaborative approach, the Tools Developer Summit held Dec. 12-13, 2013 in Washington D.C., will bring information and communication technology developers together with the BID Initiative team, partners, and donors to provide a deeper understanding of the technologies and tools available to help eliminate barriers around data quality and use. Participants will focus on how ICT could be used to address three key challenges: beneficiary interfacing, patient identification, and supply chain management. Over the course of two days, participants will share their expertise and discuss opportunities for ongoing collaboration in order to solve these problems.
Summit participants will continue to play a collaborative role in exploring and helping to solve challenges in immunization systems in Africa.
