Team Spotlight: Geofrey Micah Gundah

The BID Initiative team works across three countries in the United States, Tanzania, and Zambia. This week, we learn more about Geofrey Micah Gundah, System Implementation Specialist in Tanzania.

In my role, I install and configure new hardware/software, answer technical queries, and provide training to clients. I’m also responsible for documenting the configuration of the system and troubleshooting any reported problems.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I was a child, I wanted to be a pilot.

What do you like most about your job? Providing training in the facility on how to use the system and also learning new on how the system operates. Also, there is wonderful teamwork; we share everything together as a team.

Who is your hero? My daddy because he taught me to believe in myself, and he always supports me in everything I do. The best thing he told me is put all my trust in God, and He will show me the way.
