Team Member Spotlight: Peter Lukwesa

The BID Initiative team works across three countries in the United States, Tanzania, and Zambia. This week, we learn more about Peter Lukwesa, Systems Implementation Specialist in Zambia.

What is your role on BID?: My role on BID is implementing health information systems to facilitate for a robust process for input, storage, and usage of child immunization and vaccination data.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a pilot.

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? Playing football.

What was the last experience that made you a stronger person? When I helped someone cope with the loss of a mother in death.

Where was your favorite vacation? Cape Town.

What are your hobbies? Listening to music and dancing.
