The BID Initiative team works across three countries in the United States, Tanzania, and Zambia. This week, we learn more about Martha Sipatonyana, System Implementation Specialist in Zambia.
What is your role on BID? As a Systems Implementation Specialist, my role is to implement the BID interventions and educate end users with a goal of collecting timely and accurate data for better immunization.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to become a lawyer.
Do you have any hidden talents? My hidden talent is singing. I love it with a passion.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor? I would pick my mom as my mentor, MHSRIP.
What is one of your favorite quotes? “Success can only be attained if there is a goal to achieve”.
What do you like most about your job? I like my job because I am always challenged to achieve great heights. As such, I have discovered my innermost strengths.
