The BID Initiative team works across three countries in the United States, Tanzania and Zambia. This week, we learn more about Kelly Fallt, Senior Program Assistant from the Seattle office.
What is your role? I support the BID team at large by managing the SharePoint site, global workplan, and daily operations as well as needs of the Seattle-based team.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a professional photographer for National Geographic.
What is one of your favorite quotes? “That which you manifest is before you” – from the novel The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.
Where was your favorite vacation? Getting married on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.
What are your hobbies? Road cycling, listening to live music, kayaking, and cooking.
What is your favorite food? Vietnamese.
“Kelly jumped into the operations of the BID Initiative just as we completed Phase 0 and were rapidly building the country office teams. She has done a fabulous job of managing the SharePoint site, supporting all of us in our use of it, managing multiple meetings and schedules, and provides critical writing and editing skills to documents from all different workstreams. She is willing to take anything on and find a way to make it work. Last minute purchases of supplies to ship to Tanzania or Zambia… no problem! And overall she’s a joy to work with!” – Laurie Werner, Deputy Director, Seattle
