What is your role on BID? As the Change Management Advisor, my role is to focus on integrating change management best practices and interventions with the BID solutions.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Leaving my one month old son behind for a year to go and pursue my Master’s degree, it was a psychological torture.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a pilot but my father discouraged me – his reason being “you will die young”…eish.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I love art but unfortunately I cannot even draw a flower.

What is one of your favorite quotes? “Always stay positive, work hard, make it happen” by Aziza Mwisongo.

Do you have any hidden talents? Dancing all types of dances and lately I’ve been doing Zumba. Next time we all meet, expect a dance show from me.

“In just a few short weeks, Aziza has jumped right in and grasped the BID work and approach quickly. She’s made immediate connections and is laying out a clear path for how she can be a strong support to the country teams as well as contribute on our research, publishing, and packaging work. She has an amazing laugh and I’m thrilled to have her be part of the team!”—Laurie Werner, Global Director, Seattle
