The BID Initiative team works across three countries in the United States, Tanzania, and Zambia. This week, we learn more about Sydney Kaweme, Project Manager in Zambia.
My role is to serve as a primary point of contact for the BID Initiative in the Ministry (Ministry of Health/Community Development, Mother and Child Health) and facilitate all communications and contact throughout to successfully implement the initiative.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A politician

What do you like most about your job? Being part of the global team addressing the data challenges and further stimulating data culture among program managers to make decisions at all levels of health systems.
What is your proudest accomplishment? Marrying my wife and having kids.
